Is microneedling painful?

Most clients describe the sensation as mild to moderate. We use advanced techniques and finish with a soothing mask to cool the skin and ensure maximum comfort during your treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Optimal results are usually seen after a course of 3–6 treatments.

Is there downtime?

Redness may persist for a day or two but makeup can usually be applied after 48 hours. Our specialists provide personalised aftercare advice to minimise downtime.

When will I see results?

You’ll notice subtle improvements within a few days, such as smoother, brighter skin. Collagen and elastin renewal continue over the following 4–6 weeks.

All microneedling treatments are subject to consultation and suitability. Not everyone is suitable for microneedling. If Dermapen 4 is not appropriate, an alternative treatment or course of treatment may be recommended.

Skin Sanctuary’s standard cancellation and no-show policy applies to all appointments:

Cancellations made with 48 hours or more notice – no charge.
Cancellations made with between 24 and 48 hours’ notice – 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or in the event of a no-show – the full treatment cost is payable.

Any outstanding cancellation or no-show fee must be paid before further appointments can be booked. Skin Sanctuary reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion at any time.
